Billy Crystal, Paris Hilton, and several other Hollywood stars are grappling with the destruction of their homes as wildfires ravage Los Angeles. Over 1,000 structures have been consumed by six blazes, with Pacific Palisades suffering some of the most severe damage.
Crystal, who lost his family home of 44 years, said, “Every inch of our house was filled with love… we are heartbroken.” Similarly, Paris Hilton expressed devastation after her Malibu home burned to the ground, writing on Instagram, “This is something no one should ever have to experience.”
Other notable figures affected include actor James Woods, who broke down on live television describing his loss, and Miles Teller, whose wife, Keleigh Sperry, urged compassion for displaced animals.
The wildfires have also impacted public institutions like Palisades Charter High School and disrupted star-studded events, including the Screen Actors Guild Awards and Oscar nomination ceremonies.
While celebrities like Steve Guttenberg stayed behind to assist firefighters, the infernos have left an indelible mark on the region, reducing many lives and memories to ash.
